Our project is currently led by the brothers Francisco and Teresa who see the wine heritage they received from their ancestors as a legacy of unique value that they preserve for the creation of exceptional wines with genuine Douro character.
Our philosophy is based on focusing on the smallest details, from the daily care of the vines, the selection of the best berries, the adoption of sustainable viticulture practices, the integration of the best winemaking methodologies or the choice of the best barrels.
Quinta do Monte Bravo is located in Ervedosa do Douro, municipality of São João da Pesqueira, on the right bank of the Rio Torto, a tributary of the Douro River. The property has around 60 hectares of vineyards planted with the region's typical varieties.
In the municipality of Mêda, between the historic towns of Longroiva and Muxagata, we also have Quinta do Marvão where we have approximately 25 hectares of vineyards and a small olive grove in organic production.
